Frequently Asked Questions
Gutters are important because they help divert water away from your home. Without gutters, you run the risk of foundation damage, eroded landscape, wood rot, and other costly repairs. The purpose of a gutter system is to protect your home from water damage.
If we take storm damage out of the equation, properly installed gutters should last you 20-25 years.
We work with multiple supply houses to ensure that we can get your gutters in the same color as your fascia. Our gutter coil comes in over 50 colors. This results in less labor by eliminating the need for a painter in 94% of the houses we work on.
We offer a 1 year workmanship warranty. This warranty covers any issues or replacements that may arise due to poor workmanship. This warranty does not cover against storm damage, acts of god or misuse.
Absolutely. We are experienced with working retail as well as insurance projects. Before I got into storm restoration, I worked for an insurance broker. That experience puts me in a unique position when it comes to dealing with insurance companies.
Every situation is different. If your roof is tile, or metal, we strongly recommend you go up in size. Other situations that may call for oversized gutters are steep roofs, roofs with multiple valleys, gutter runs that are over 40’ and gutters that are catching water on roofs with large surface areas.
Most counties do not have a written building code for gutters. However, if you live in JeffCo off the 285 corridor west of 470, you are considered wildfire zone 1. Wildfire zone 1 requires that your gutter be made out of a non-combustible material such as aluminum, galvanized steel, or galvalume. As of 2020, JeffCo has also made gutter guards part of their building code in efforts to help with fire mitigation by keeping slash and other combustible materials out of your gutters.
We install gutters as far north as boulder, as far south as castle rock, as far east as Elizabeth and as far west as Bailey.
The wrong type of gutter guards will do more harm than good. We have different gutter guard models for different situations. The most important thing to note, is that we will only install metal gutter guards. While PVC guard may work better in some areas with less extreme weather, Colorado requires a gutter guard that will stand up to our extreme cold and extreme heat. All of our gutter guards are proudly made here in the USA.
All of our installers go through rigorous training and testing. Although we have only been in business since 2019, we bring 20+ years of experience to every installation.
